Loewe plans arena-style Paris showspace for McCollough and Hernandez debut
Wallpaper* reports that Loewe will stage its latest collection in a circular venue designed to bring guests closer to the runway.
Loewe is set to present its latest collection on 2 October 2026 inside a temporary white structure at Château de Vincennes, according to Wallpaper*. London- and Berlin-based practice Casper Mueller Kneer designed the venue as a circular arena with two levels, an upper gallery and tiered seating arranged around a central performance area. It is the first major architectural show project for the house since Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez took over.
The designers and architects drew on references including Padua’s Anatomical Theatre, Shakespeare’s Globe, Milan’s La Scala and a Detroit gasometer. Their aim is to create a more concentrated viewing experience, with models moving around the arena so guests can observe the collection at close range. The decision gives Loewe a distinctive physical setting for its new creative direction and links the runway to the brand’s recent use of art and playful installations, including an Ellsworth Kelly painting and Cosima von Bonin sculptures.
